Scout Trips

Scouting is Fun!

Troop 14  plans about 10 trips a year, plus 1 week of summer camp.

An annual planning meeting is held each year by the Patrol Leaders Committee. The Patrol Leaders Committee provides the Troop Committee with their trip requests. A tentive schedule is created, then the Trip Coordinator contacts the locations for pricing and date availability.

Winter trips tend to be day trips or  cabin camping. Some of the trips may cost more than $100.00 per scout, these trips are limited and spaced apart to allow scouts the opportunity to earn money in their scout account. All youth must provide an activity consent form, an annual medical form and COVID screening form

Guardians can volunteer to attend trips. If there is not enough adult leadership to attend the event, they maybe reimbursed for fuel and tolls. All adult attendees to scout events must complete Scouts BSA Youth Protection Training and provide the troop with the certicifate of completion. In addition,  they will need to provide a activity consent form, annual medical form, and COVID screening form. Adults are responsible for paying of their participation in any events.
